This year's ABP Workforce Experience Conference and Awards was our largest ever, not simply because more people attended, but because it demonstrated something much bigger.

Across practitioners, researchers, coaches, HR professionals, consultants, organisational psychologists, neuroscientists, academics and business leaders, there was a shared appetite to explore one question:

How can Business Psychology create better outcomes for people, organisations and society?

That's what The Association for Business Psychology exists to support.

As the home and voice of Business Psychology, The ABP brings together professionals from many different backgrounds who share a commitment to applying psychology with rigour, integrity and real-world impact.

Together, we share practice, test ideas, raise standards and help shape the future of our profession.

Every new member adds another perspective, another area of expertise and another opportunity for us all to learn.

An invitation to join

To celebrate this year's record-breaking conference - and welcome more people into our community - we're offering eligible new and returning members a special introductory membership rate.

From 20 July to 31 August, eligible applicants can join The ABP for £50 + VAT for their first year, with the usual joining fee waived.

It's a simple invitation to become part of a community that is committed to improving practice, supporting professional development and creating positive impact through Business Psychology.

As an ABP member you'll have opportunities to:

Terms & Conditions

To celebrate our successful 2026 Workforce Experience Conference and Awards, The Association for Business Psychology (ABP) is pleased to offer a special introductory membership rate for a limited period, subject to the terms and conditions provided below.

The Conference Celebration Summer Saver offers eligible applicants their first year's Individual Membership for £50 + VAT, with the standard joining fee waived.

1. Offer period

This offer is available for applications submitted between Monday 20 July 2026 and Monday 31 August 2026 (inclusive).

Applications must be approved and payment received during the promotional period to qualify.

2. Eligibility

This offer is available to:

• individuals joining The ABP for the first time; or
• former members who have not held ABP membership at any time during the 12 months immediately preceding the application date.

3. Who is not eligible

This offer is not available to:

• current ABP members;
• individuals whose previous ABP membership ended less than 12 months before their application;
• applicants for membership categories other than Individual Membership; or
• applicants seeking to combine this offer with any other membership discount or promotional offer.

4. Payment

Applicants with a UK bank account are required to pay by Direct Debit to qualify for this offer.

Applicants who do not have access to a UK bank account may apply through the standard membership application process and, if their application is approved during the promotional period, will be eligible for the promotional membership fee.

5. Membership commencement and renewal

Membership begins on the date an application is approved.

Members receive access to ABP membership benefits immediately upon acceptance.

The promotional rate applies to the first year of membership only. Membership will renew at the prevailing annual membership fee on 1 August 2027 (or the applicable first renewal date in accordance with the ABP renewal schedule), unless cancelled in accordance with the Membership Terms.

6. Membership conditions

Membership is subject to:

• acceptance of the membership application by The ABP;
• compliance with the ABP Code of Conduct; and
• the ABP No Refund Policy.

7. General

This offer:

• is personal to the applicant and cannot be transferred;
• has no cash alternative;
• may not be used in conjunction with any other membership offer; and
• may be amended or withdrawn by The ABP at any time before the end of the promotional period.
