The 2025-26 ABP Biz Psych Cup Is Here!

January sees the launch of the 2025-26 ABP Biz Psych Cup. Now in its fifth year, this annual student team competition has gone from strength to strength, and this year sees our biggest competition yet, with 19 student teams ready to do battle. 

Here’s a list of all the teams and universities involved this year:

The teams will compete over the next 10 weeks on seven real business challenges set by our amazing corporate members: Arup, Lumina Learning, Meta-Lucid with their client Subsea 7, Meta-Lucid with their client Telenor, NatWest, SHL and Sten10.

The challenges are diverse, covering ‘hot’ Business Psych topics including high performance, leadership and culture in delivery teams; bias in personality assessment; merger transition; self-fulfilling leadership assessment; developing a skills-based culture; the impact of AI on individual and group creativity; and assessment transparency. 

Throughout, the teams will be mentored by their Pro Coach Angel. This is a senior member of the ABP (CPBP or Fellow). The 'Angel' is there to act as a mentor to the team, helping them to stay focused on the business solution side of the challenge. They act in a business advisor role – helping the teams to stay focused on the application of their research.  

The teams will submit their posters at the end of March. Following shortlisting, the virtual final will take place late April, with the winner announced early May.
